Are these black cats going to be lucky?

On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 23rd, 24th and 25th April, 31 black cats and kittens were taken out of a house in Bangor by volunteers Barbara, Lorraine and helper June Cartwright.
Over the weekend, two of the cats have given birth to a total of 11 black kittens. So in our care, we now have 19 black adults, some semi long -haired, some short haired, two nursing mothers with 11 kittens between them, and 10 kittens between 4 weeks and 4 months.
The owners, who are cat lovers, became over - protective and unable to cope with the vast numbers in their small household, due to the fact that some of the cats had not been neutered. When we arrived, the cats were paddling around in their own urine, with litter trays sparse and over-flowing. The house was in an atrocious state. Amazingly enough, all cats are healthy. All are now neutered, wormed and de-flead.
If you are able to offer one of these poor cats a home, please phone Barbara on 01248 689132, Lorraine on 01407 810227, or Mary on 01492 660221
